Tributaries just released the Series 4 audiophile and video interconnect cables, which are handmade at the company’s headquarters in Orlando, Florida. The new line includes analog RCA audio, balanced audio, subwoofer mono, Y cables, and Digital/Video 75 ohm cables priced from $38 to $125.
Tributaries changed the coaxial design to a perfect twisted pair geometry with solid conductors which yields more accurate signal transfer. Digital and video cables employ a 75-ohm coaxial design with an upgraded solid conductor for a higher level of performance. The Series 4 cables achieve a level of performance far above previous models of Series 3 and Series 5 cables.
The cosmetics of the cable and connectors of the Series 4 line have been designed to elevate this line of cables to a new level of elegance not seen before at this price point. “We are excited with the performance of the Series 4 cables,” said Joe Perfito, President of Tributaries Cable. “The use of new cable designs and updated cosmetics push the Series 4 to surpass the performance of our Series 3 and Series 5 cables.
