Gardena, CA D August 22, 2007 D TMPG, Inc. (www.tmpg-inc.com), the company that makes digital video easy, announces that TMPGEnc DVD Source Creator 4 will soon be available in the German language. The product provides editing and enhancing of almost any video file, which it then encodes to standard DVD compliant MPEG files. Users can correct color, crop or resize the picture, create bilingual audio, adjust volume and more with the use of 12 included filters.

“We are pleased to provide an additional German language alternative to our TMPGEnc DVD Source Creator 4 software. It will now be easier for our German speaking customers to use DVD Source Creator 4, a program that allows users to easily edit and enhance almost any video file and then encode it to standard DVD files that are ready to author with DVD authoring software such as our TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 with DivX Authoring,” stated Kimi Matsuki, TMPG Inc. CEO.

The consumer electronics market in Germany is strong, second only to Great Britain in Europe. The country has strong sales of DVD players/recorders, camcorders and home cinema systems driving consumers to need software to edit and create video content. German consumers are sophisticated buyers that demand high quality digital products with advanced features.

DVD Source Creator 4 software incorporates the same interface as used in the award-winning TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress. This ensures users of an easy, four-step encoding process: start, source, format, and encode. A special template is embedded for each output format to simplify correct spec setting selection. It is also optimized to take advantage of IntelOs latest Core 2 Duo technology.

DVD Source Creator 4 allows users to take almost any existing video file format (DVD, HD MPEG, DV, AVI*, MPEG 1/2, WMV*, and MOV*) and convert it to standard MPEG 1 or 2 for DVD, SVCD, or VCD file formats, that are ready for DVD-authoring software. Import DVD-Video and Windows Media Center PC files (DVR-MS) with the Source Wizard. Encode multiple clips into one file, or encode to separate files for each clip.

12 robust filters provide virtually limitless enhancement options. They include: picture cropping and resizing; video and audio fade in/out, video noise reduction, color and audio volume correction, picture contour enhancement and bilingual audio. Filters may be registered one time as a group and applied to multiple clips, saving time and eliminating possible error.

TMPGEnc DVD Source Creator 4 will be available for download soon at www.tmpg-inc.com.
