Silicon Optix CEO Paul Russo to Keynote Projection Summit 2005

San Jose, CA–(June 2, 2005)–Silicon Optix’s CEO, Paul Russo, will deliver the keynote address during the fourth annual Projection Summit, to be held June 6 and 7, in the Las Vegas Hilton Pavilion, just before InfoComm 2005, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Russo’s keynote presentation will begin at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7.

During his presentation, Russo will examine the display and consumer electronics landscape in 2015, and explain how current roadmaps will evolve to create that new world. He will review the major challenges to the projection industry and the emerging technologies that will drive change, focusing primarily on front- and rear- projection markets. How important is geometry processing? Can Microdisplay TVs follow the fabless model? How will LEDs enter the market? Where will the next manufacturing centers be?

“Paul has a proven track record of seeing where the industry is going and developing products and services that meet this need,” noted conference co-organizer, Chris Chinnock. “That is why we are particularly interested to hear where he sees the industry trends heading.”
