Why not take your good mood along with you wherever you go? Whether you’re on the subway, out in the street or at home, Sennheiser’s three new headphones guarantee you’ll have a smile on your face wherever you are. The stylish HD 218, HD 228 and HD 238 Precision were launched at the 2009 International CES in Las Vegas.

These headphones not only sound fantastic, they make every playlist a great time, too. “The new HD models boast features which guarantee you will experience first-class sound when you’re on the move; they have been optimized for use with MP3 players, Apple iPods*, Apple iPhones* and other portable devices,” explains Sennheiser Product Manager Maurice Quarre. “The top-of-the-range HD 238 Precision is ideal for music fans who really value concise and detailed sound reproduction.”

Their light and compact construction means they are perfect for music on the move. Individually adjustable ear cups also ensure they are comfortable enough for you to spend hours listening to your favorite songs. In addition to its portable credentials, these new headphones are configured to provide maximum enjoyment from the music played through your home-based sound system as well!

HD 218 – dynamic bass reproduction

Its full sound and dynamic bass reproduction keeps you in the groove even when you’re on-the-go. The closed ear cups screen out noise pollution, such as the clatter of the train, the chatter of the people sitting next to you and ambient street noise. The HD 218 doesn’t just sound good, however; it looks good, too, with its stylish black over-ear design.

HD 228 – first-class bass performance
HD-228
The stylish HD 228 delivers rich bass for sound you’ll love to listen to all day long. High-performance neodymium magnets guarantee a crystal-clear stereo sound with first-class depth reproduction. Like the HD 218, the closed headphone design blocks out distracting noise for uninterrupted listening; plus, those around you can enjoy their peace as you rock out to the latest downloads. The extra soft ear pad cushioning also allows the HD 228 to be worn comfortably for hours on end.

HD 238 Precision – high resolution stereo sound

Just relax, lean back and enjoy first-class sound quality–your favorite music has never sounded like this. The HD 238 Precision is a winner thanks to its balanced stereo sound — whether you’re at home or out and about. Its sound properties are optimized for both portable devices and for connecting to a home-based sound system. An improved transducer with high-performing neodymium magnets and a frequency response from 16 to 23,000 Hz ensures concise and accurate aural indulgence. And it’s not just the sound that’s a delight: the high-end headphones have an Open-Aire™ design and combine a classic look with high-quality, stabilizing metallic elements. And when you’re on the go, simply pop the HD 238 back into its protective black pouch. Now, doesn’t that sound good?

The HD 218, HD 228 and HD 238 are available now at the following retail prices:
