Screen Innovations Hooks Viewers at Indianas Bass Pro Shops; Continues Success in Commercial Market

New Technology Paves Way for Extended Growth Opportunities

Austin, Texas — March 8, 2006 — Screen Innovations, a manufacturer of premium theater projection screens, is expanding their presence in commercial projects thanks in part to the release of their Visage front projection screen, which allows for widescreen viewing even in the brightest of environments. The Visage screen, was selected by the Bass Pro Shops in Clarksville, Indiana to light up the store’s Nascar-themed room. Shoppers receive the ultimate thrill as they experience a vibrant, colorful and full-contrast car presentation.

“We are really delighted to have the Visage featured in one of the most popular outdoor destinations in America,” said John McCumber, chief executive officer, Screen Innovations. “What better way to provide an inviting and memorable experience within a retail environment than immersing the audience in all the action.”

The 280,000 square foot facility (almost seven football fields) is Bass Pro Shops’ largest store east of the Mississippi and second only in size to the flagship store in Springfield, Missouri. The store exhibits unique exterior and interior motifs. The outdoor feel is brought indoors through massive log and rock work, large indoor aquariums and water features stocked with native fish species, as well as an extensive collection of museum quality fish and wildlife mounts. Historic photos and exhibits pay tribute to Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky’s great outdoors heritage.

The featured 16:9 Visage screen measures 360 inches diagonally for incredible widescreen presentations. The video system is comprised of two Projection Design F3 projectors, giving viewers a front-row center experience unlike anything they have experienced outside of a major cinema. The design and installation was handled by local electronic systems contractor, Crawford Entertainment Systems, Inc. of Louisville, Kentucky. The store also features additional Screen Innovations 120″ Visage projection screens, including a spectacular presentation in the main entry of the boat sales pavilion.

The Visage was the perfect choice for Bass Pro Shops to show off their ability to WOW clients. The Nascar room incorporates three auto simulators and the impressive theater room is used to show races and documentaries. The facility also features a restaurant to make the experience a family affair that will keep enthusiasts coming back on a regular basis.

Scott Harvey, Promotions Manager for the Bass Pro Shops in Clarksville stated: “The screen in our NASCAR room offers one of the biggest entertainment factors to our store. It helps make our store a major destination for fans of the sport. I couldn’t be happier with the product that Screen Innovations has provided for us. We have had nothing but positive comments about our NASCAR room and the screen is a big reason for that. If we ever need another product of this stature, we will only go to Screen Innovations to get it done.”

Screen Innovations’ front projection Visage screen takes projectors out of the dark by enabling a realistic, big-screen film experience in the brightest of environments. Through a patented filter, Visage absorbs incidental light from windows and lights to achieve 10 times the contrast of ordinary screens. As a result, the projected image is virtually unaffected by ambient light. The Visage screen delivers unprecedented performance in a wide variety of commercial venues, including retail store locations, airports, boardrooms, classrooms, tradeshows, and dealer showrooms where accurate reproduction of video imagery is critical to individual enterprises.
