Samsung Omnia i900 8GB and 16GB Cell Phones Released

Samsung have recently launched their latest assault on the UK smartphones market with two new offerings: Samsung i900 Omnia 16GB and 8GB.

These new touchscreen phones look similar in design to the Apple iPhone but pack far more technology into their small casings, the only differences betwen the two models is the amount of internal memory on offer.

The Samsung Omnia i900 8GB has now been made available on the UK network Orange contract deals whilst the larger 16GB model is now available on O2 contract deals, further networks are expected to launch one or both of these amazing new smartphones in the near future.

Let the Samsung i900 move with you. A built in accelerometer lets the Samsung Omnia automatically adjust to whatever angle you hold. Shake, flip or spin and the Samsung i900 adapts displaying extra menu options, switching movies to wide-screen or simply adjusting the display to the most comfortable angle.

Capture special moments with the Samsung i900 Omnia. A 5 mega-pixel camera with auto focus, LED flash lets you take digital camera quality photographs without your camera. Face detection technology automatically tracks faces in photographs making sure they are always in focus and sharp.

Let the Samsung Omnia guide you, literally. Assisted GPS combines with your favourite navigation software to take you where you need to go. Do more then just navigation. The Assisted GPS capability of the i900 and location based services lets you find useful and popular locations around you. Find cash points, clubs, cinemas, restaurants, what ever you need.

Make better use of time. The Samsung Omnia i900 offers the full suite of applications to let you make the most of your time. Create and edit Microsoft Office documents on the go. Get e-mails delivered instantly with push e-mail to always know what’s happening. Full Microsoft Exchange support lets you collect e-mails, schedule meetings and update your schedule information on the move.

Turn your Samsung i900 into a wireless jukebox with DLNA support. DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) allows your Samsung i900 to connect to other DLNA & Wi-Fi compatible devices turning into into a wireless multi-media jukebox. Watch movies on your TV sent directly from your Samsung i900, send high quality stereo music directly to your DLNA enabled hi-fi all without wires.

Find what you need. High speed 3G & Wi-Fi let you connect to the internet at broadband speeds. The installed Opera web browser intelligently scales complete web pages to fit the Samsung i900.

Relax with the Samsung i900 Omnia. The built-in media player and large hi-res screen lets you watch movies, listen to MP3’s or unwind listening to your favourite radio show. 8 or 16GB of on-board memory and microSDHC slot provides space for over 8000 songs.
