RTI Commissions Kris Haggstrom as International Sales Manager

Worldly Electronic Executive Brings RTI to a Global Level

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — June 19, 2006 — Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI), the pioneer in home entertainment control technology, announces the hiring of Kris Haggstrom as their International Sales Manager. Kris was brought in to lead the forward march on increasing RTI’s international sales efforts. RTI has big plans to expand their coverage globally. Mr. Haggstrom will investigate, identify, select, integrate and train additional regional distribution partners. These new additions will be for Asia, Middle East and some uncovered countries/region of Europe.

“It’s exciting to have an ambitious industry leader like Kris Haggstrom as a part of the RTI family. He is the businessman to launch RTI on a global scale,” said Pete Baker, director of sales and marketing for RTI. “His experience in international business and the consumer electronics industry will be an invaluable asset to RTI’s presence in the international market.”

Mr. Haggstrom joins RTI from Blaklader LLC in St. Petersburg, FL. He was the acting president of this Swedish based company, manufacturing high functionality work wear for various professional segments. Prior to his presidential days, Kris was employed by Future Electronics out of Montreal, Canada. For thirteen years he acted as Vice President, implementing many strategic account initiatives throughout Europe He negotiated and finalized many mutually beneficial, successful, long term, customer programs. Mr. Haggstrom also spent much time traveling the greater European continent visiting target key customers. Kris was educated at Marks University in Skene, Sweden. He graduated with a degree in Business and Foreign Languages in 1979.
