Launched by Agios Technology Co. after two years of intensive research and development, Podio consists of a proprietary MicroAmp and a full range driver, housed in what is best described as a cylinder-shaped metal micro speaker only 88 millimeters long.
It offers the convenience of a mini MP3 player but does away with the potentially harmful effects of listening to music with earphones.
A good news to the avid cyclist is that Podio can be attached to the handlebar of a bicycle and play music for up to 20 hours, all the time offering accurate representation of pre-recorded music.
Weighing only 139 grams, Podio has a 2G storage capacity and comes with a rechargeable lithium battery. It connects to your computer through a USB port and can store music in both MP3 and Windows WMA formats.
