PMDA ANNOUNCES 2005 HOLIDAY PARTY
IN NEW YORK CITY

Network with NY-Area Leaders in Photography:
Manufacturers, Distributors, Marketing and Sales Executives

NY, NY, November 8, 2005 — The PhotoImaging Manufacturers & Distributors Association (PMDA) http://www.pmda.com announced today the PMDA 2005 Holiday Party for photo/digital imaging industry executives, to take place in New York City on Saturday, December 3rd from 6:00 PM — 11:00 PM at the Roosevelt Hotel, located on Madison Avenue and 45th Street.

Open to all photography industry professionals, the 2005 PMDA Holiday Party provides a unique opportunity to network with the leaders in digital photography, including NY/cosmopolitan-area photography and digital imaging manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and marketing and sales executives, such as Kodak, Canon, HP, Fuji, Nikon, and more. The PMDA Holiday Party is black-tie optional, featuring live entertainment by the Little Wilson Band; with dancing, a full cocktail party and a formally-served four-course dinner. Attendees are also encouraged to participate in the “Toys for Tots” program by bringing any unwrapped toys to the event.

“Spending an evening in New York City at this time of year is magical in itself, but when you combine the location with a fun night of dancing, winning raffle prizes and spending time with good friends, there is no better way to kick off the holiday season than by attending the PMDA Holiday Party,” said Stacie Errera, Chief Marketing Officer, Tamron USA, Inc. and President of PMDA.

Raffle prizes will be available, courtesy of the sponsors of the dinner, including airline tickets, golf items, an outstanding his and hers outdoor adventure package valued at over $1000, and $100 gift cards to top stores like Bloomingdales. Sponsors to date include: Outdoor Photographer, Outside Magazine, Digital Foci, Thomas Public Relations, Picture Business, Art Leather, VNU, Tamron, Rangefinder, Shutterbug, Leica, SIR Marketing, and Photo Industry Reporter.
