THE NEW PERFORMANCE SERIES OF LOUDSPEAKERS FROM PARADIGM
DELIVERS QUALITY AND VALUE IN A PLATINUM PACKAGE

ONTARIO, CANADA — March 8, 2005 — Reality makeovers have nothing on Paradigm. The best-value, audiophile-quality Performance Series loudspeakers from Paradigm have been updated with a contemporary new look that includes stylish Brushed “Platinum” baffles designed to satisfy the trend for “Silver” in today’s home theater market, upscale detailing on matching kick plates, and elegantly curved, low-diffraction grilles. Performance speakers are still designed for smaller spaces and smaller budgets–typically customers entering the world of high-end audio for the first time.

Technical specifications remain untouched on this version of these award-winning loudspeakers. Drivers feature high-performance CMC Ceramic Metal Composite domes for spacious and transparent high-frequency presentation, no matter where you sit in the room. Ferro-fluid cooling ensures greater high-power handling, particularly important in meeting the demands imposed by today’s higher bandwidths. MPC Metallescent Polymer Cones teamed with large motor/magnet structures deliver very smooth and detailed midrange reproduction. Bass response is extraordinary–even in the tiny, award-winning Atom. Chassis configurations include die-cast baskets in the smaller models and GRIP glass-reinforced injection-molded polymer baskets in the larger speakers; both styles are exceptionally rigid to eliminate flexing and ringing. Performance Series speakers offer an extraordinary amount of technology for the price. Open any high-end audio magazine and you’ll often find the sound of Paradigm’s Performance speakers being compared to high-end speakers costing many times the price.

All speakers in the Performance Series are also available with magnetic shielding (already included on center channels), making the smaller-sized performers in this series perfect for home theater and for computer enthusiasts who want excellent quality sound for gaming, listening to music or watching DVDS–at a price that won’t break the bank. ADP surround/rear speakers use optimized radiation patterns to provide a uniform reverberant soundfield and full-bandwidth bass. Performance center channels and ADPs are timbre-matched to all Performance Series v.4 speakers.

Paradigm is known around the world for delivering super-high-quality products that are remarkably affordable. The company lives up to that reputation once again, offering this smart-looking upgraded version for the same surprisingly low prices as the earlier version! The Atom v.4 is available for $199/pair, Titan v.4 for $229/pair, Focus v.4 at $319/pair, Esprit v.4 at $429/pair and Phantom v.4 at $549/pair. CC-170 v.4 is available for only $199, and the CC-270 v.4 comes in at only $299. The ADP-170 v.4 rear/surround speakers are just $479/pair.

Finishes Available: Light Cherry, Rosenut, Brushed Platinum with Gray grilles, and Black Ash or Black Ash MagneShield with Black grilles. Titan and Atom are also available in White with White grilles. CC-170 and CC-270 are available in Brushed Platinum with Gray grilles and Black Graphite with Black grilles. ADP-170 is available in Brushed Platinum, Black Graphite and White, with grilles to match.
