Compact Amplifier Fits in a UL rated Double Gang Box – Capable of Driving Four Speakers and Line Sharing with up to 20 Amplifiers

The AMP1SGB is a 25 -Watt Amplifier that fits neatly into a UL rated double gang box. The small but mighty amplifier delivers up to 25 watts of Class AB power right at the speaker. The AMP1SGB is also being offered in money saving combo packs with OWI’s popular “P” Series surface mounted speakers.
“After introducing the OWI self-amplified in-ceiling speakers to the market our customers began asking us when we were going to develop a self-amplified surface mounted line,” said Joe Martinez, Vice President of OWI Inc. “In response, we developed the AMP1SGB 25 Watt Amplifier to be used in combination with any of OWI’s 8 ohm speakers,” Martinez added.
“Having the amplifier fit into a double gang box eliminates the need for large and expensive equipment racks,” Martinez continued. “And with the amplifier located right at the speaker, signal loss is reduced and music quality improves.”
Each AMP1SGB 25 Watt Wall Amplifier can effectively drive four speakers. One line will support up to 20 amplifiers allowing for simple, cost effective installation and easy expansion or revision of existing systems. Because the AMP1SGB amplifier fits into a double gang box, the need for large and expensive equipment racks is eliminated. The units are fast and easy to install in the field and come complete with a 12v AC power supply.
