Olevia 665i 1080p 65-inch LCD HDTV Announced

Olevia™ 665i Features the Silicon Optix Realta Hollywood Quality Video (HQV™) Video Processor

Syntax-Brillian Corporation (Nasdaq:BRLC), an innovator in LCD and LCoS™ televisions, announced today that at the InfoComm exhibition in Anaheim, Calif., it is introducing a new 65″ 1080p LCD HDTV aimed at the ProAV/home theater market utilizing the state-of-the-art Silicon Optix Realta HQV™ video processor. Designated the Olevia™ 665i, the product is the company’s first offering of an LCD HDTV larger than 50″ in North America and is the first large area display to utilize the HQV™ processor.

In addition to its advanced Silicon Optix Realta HQV™ video processor, the new Olevia™ 665i HDTV features:

  • Full complement of inputs (2 HDMI, 2 Component, Composite and VGA inputs)
  • Provides RS232 control for use in networked applications or home automation installations
  • Firmware upgradeable via USB
  • Olevia™ Big Picture Technology™ to reduce overscan and enable consumers to enjoy more of the image
  • Wide viewing angle
  • Thin bezel design with removable speakers enables the set to adapt to a variety of applications and viewing environments
  • Optional wall mount for custom installations
  • MSRP: $9,999

The Olevia™ 665i will be on display at the InfoComm exhibition in the Anaheim Convention Center from June 19-21, 2007, in the Starin Marketing booth (#814) – a professional audio/video distributor of Olevia products. It is expected to be available beginning in October 2007 and sold through both professional audio/video distributors and CEDIA/home theater specialty retail channels.
