Typically, system wire signals degrade over long distances, but by using CAT-5 Baluns, installers can extend a signal with increased flexibility, without sacrificing quality and at a fraction of the cost of other installation options. And because their circuitry is passive, Niles CAT-5 Baluns require no AC power and can be installed virtually anywhere. The line will be unveiled to the custom installation industry for the first time during CEDIA EXPO in Denver this September.

Normally used in pairs, each CAT-5 Balun model in the series is designed with a specific application in mind, i.e., analog audio, digital audio composite video, S-video, cable TV, component video and digital audio, S-video and analog audio, and VGA signal distribution.
