Nikon is proud of its commitment to protect the environment and believes that pollution prevention measures and the efficient use of resources are vital. With this commitment in mind Nikon introduces ecobins binoculars. Designed from top to bottom with the latest eco friendly features, ecobins maintains the highest level of optics that make Nikon world-famous.

The Nikon ecobins binocular, available in 10×25, features Eco-Glass™ lead- and arsenic-free lenses and prisms. In addition non-chloride rubber and no harmful inks or dyes are used during production. Compact, rugged, waterproof and fogproof construction provide total confidence in any situation. Additional premium optics features include aspherical eyepiece lenses that provide distortion-free viewing, internal blackening to minimize light loss inside binocular tubes and multi-coated lenses that offer maximum brightness, contrast and true color.

Ecobins offers generous eye relief, 15.9 mm, and turn-and-slide rubber eyecups — allowing the binoculars to be used as comfortably and effectively by eyeglass wearers as those with uncorrected vision. Diopter control with click-stop adjustment corrects normal right eye and left eye imbalance. MSRP is $169.95.

Included carrying case and strap are constructed from environmentally-minded Lenzing TENCEL fiber that is fully biodegradable. Derived from the wood pulp of sustainable eucalyptus forests, TENCEL fiber utilizes a revolutionary manufacturing process with minimal waste.

Nikon ecobins packaging is constructed from eighty-five percent post-consumer waste and is printed on recyclable FiberStone paper. This recyclable paper is completely TREE-FREE and made from limestone collected as waste material from existing quarries for the building and construction industry. Production of this product uses no water or bleaching chemicals and releases zero pollution into the air.
