NCH Axon Virtual PBX Software

NCH Software, a leading provider of audio, video, business, and telephony/VoIP tools and utilities worldwide, today announced the latest version of Axon Virtual PBX Software.

Using VoIP technology, Axon connects to phone lines and extensions allowing users to place calls through their computers. Axon now comes with standard voicemail capabilities built in. This will allow every extension to have its own voicemail box, further simplifying the steps necessary to get a basic phone system up and running.

“We use Axon internally to connect our Denver and Australian offices. Extension dialing between offices has helped us dramatically reduce phone charges,” says David Jakober, Business Manager at NCH Software’s Denver office.

Previously, Axon users would use IVM Answering Attendant to add a voicemail solution to their PBX. With this new release, users can rely solely on Axon to provide all the traditional features of a PBX telephone management system, including call routing, transferring, and hold.

Axon easily integrates with IVM for an interactive voice response system, and other products in the NCH Software telephony suite, including: VRS, IMS, DialDictate, Quorum. These additional tools are ideal for building customized phone systems that meet the individual needs of any business.
Through an FXO adapter or a telephony board, Axon can also be used with landlines. This additional hardware can be purchased through AltoEdge.

To make the process even easier, upon installation, Axon users can set up a free 14-day trial VoIP account with InPhonex, a leading provider of high quality, feature-rich broadband phone services. Using InPhonex hosted VoIP gives businesses the perfect way to see if VoIP is right for them.

Pricing and Availability
Axon is free for one phone line and five extensions. A business or enterprise license, which allows more lines, is available for purchase from the NCH website at nch.com.au/pbx.
