Following up on their previous release of the very affordable Monolith Encore 6-series home theater speaker line, Monoprice has decided to expand the Encore line by adding an Encore 5 Series that is priced lower than the current models without sacrificing quality.
The 5 series includes the T5 Tower, B5 Bookshelf, and C5 Center Channel speakers.
The speakers are sold individually which allows for flexible setup configurations.
- Just as with the Encore 6 series, you can use the T5 tower speakers as your front speakers in combination with the B5 bookshelf as surrounds and the C5 center channel.
- You can use the T5 towers for both front and surround speakers combined with the C5 center channel.
- You can use the B5 bookshelves as both your front and surround speakers combined with a C5 center channel.
- For a complete home theater setup, you can add one or more subwoofers, such as the Monoprice Monolith M-10 V2, which we previously featured in a preview article, and an Affordable Subwoofer Shootout.
- You can assemble a 2-channel stereo setup with just a pair of T5s or B5s.
