Mitsubishi Reduces Prices on All Home Theater Projectors

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division, known for its award-winning, high-quality presentation and display products, today announced it has lowered its suggested retail prices on its home theater line of front projectors, the HC3000U, HC900U and HC100U.

“We want to encourage even more people to try front projection for a true home theater experience,” said Frank Anzures, product manager, projector product marketing for Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America. “Our new MSRPs meet and exceed market demand, and we’re excited to offer these outstanding projectors at such a great value.”

Mitsubishi’s HC3000U is one of the lowest-priced 720p projectors containing Texas Instruments DDP3020 Digital Light Processing™ TrueVision™ Image processing and BrilliantColor™, and is currently available at a manufacturer’s suggested price of $2,495. BrilliantColor™ is Mitsubishi’s, leading-edge technology that boosts mid-tone color levels for higher brightness, vibrant colors and realistic and lifelike images. The result is a display output that looks even brighter and more intense than its specified 1000 ANSI lumens and 4000:1 contrast ratio.

Currently available at an MSRP of $1,895, Mitsubishi’s HC900U projector with DLP™ technology has a high contrast ratio and proprietary gamma control technology that provides professional-level features for the most demanding home theater enthusiast.

Mitsubishi’s HC100U projects an image up to 250 inches diagonally, and with an MSRP of $1,495, is a great alternative for budget-minded home theater shoppers. It offers a significant screen size-to-space efficiency ratio, and is the size of a large box of chocolates. The HC100U’s light weight also allows users to easily store it out of sight when not in use.

Availability, Warranty
Each of Mitsubishi’s home theater projectors are available directly and online through authorized dealers, and come with Mitsubishi Electric’s limited one-year warranty on parts and labor, plus a 90-day warranty on the lamp.
