Professional Grade Monitor for Retail and Digital Signage Applications

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division, known for award-winning, high-quality presentation and display products, today introduced its newest LCD digital signage monitor, the LDT461V (46-inch diagonal). With full 1080p high-definition display resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), Mitsubishi’s LDT461V is designed for high-impact, high-detail video displays and moving text in retail environments, movie theaters, information kiosks and other commercial and public display venues.

Mitsubishi’s LDT461V has been specially designed to meet the needs of digital signage, business, and professional applications requiring a full HD display. This full featured monitor is equipped with advanced technology such as motion shifter to prevent image sticking, scheduling functions for easy use, and gamma and brightness controls that help increase the life of the monitor in digital signage environments that have more robust usage schedules.

“Consumer grade monitors just aren’t up for the task of professional environments. The real test comes through usage over time, especially when service and support is needed. TVs are not mission-critical, but business monitors are,” said Frank Anzures, product manager, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division. “Mitsubishi’s new 46-inch monitor is designed specifically for robust signage applications, and it comes with service and support commensurate with fast-paced business requirements.”

The LDT461V has a full range of professional AV connectivity options for maximum integration flexibility as well as unique scheduling controls for easy planning of on/off operation, presentation timing, image changeovers and more. Access to menus and control information through the RS232c connector is easy and efficient. Mitsubishi’s monitors can also be networked using third-party solutions.

“Mitsubishi recognizes the market’s need for professional level high definition LCD monitors,” said James Chan, director, product marketing, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division. “With the LDT461V, our dealers can now offer their customers a better option for digital signage and public display venues.”

Suggested Pricing, Availability, Warranty
The LDT461V is available this month for a suggested retail price of $4995 through authorized Mitsubishi dealers. The monitor is covered by Mitsubishi’s MEMOS (Mitsubishi Express Monitor Onsite Service) Warranty Program, a limited warranty program that brings extended service hours, longer LCD panel warranty coverage and onsite services and repairs to its large-screen digital signage LCD monitor line. The program features a dedicated toll-free 24/7 technical support line (888-593-9037) with reliable and knowledgeable US-based technical support reps for set-up help, problem-solving and troubleshooting.
