The Lacrosse HDTV Antenna earns favorable Review from HTGuys.com

July 7, 2006, EUREKA, MO — Terrestrial Digital’s Lacrosse HDTV antenna was reviewed by podcasters The HTGuys in their July 7 podcast at www.htguys.com. The reviewers praised the antenna for its ability to ‘combine form and function.’

In the review, the HT Guys tested the Lacrosse in three California locations- South Orange County, The San Fernando Valley and Fresno. The mid-range multidirectional antenna performed well at all locations where it was within its stated range of operation, which is 40 miles. In some instances, the HT Guys even got results from well beyond that range.

The reviewers were especially surprised to see that at the South Orange County testing site, they were actually able to view 3 different broadcasts from San Diego, which is 80 miles away.

“The quality of the Lacrosse speaks for itself,” said Terrestrial Digital President Richard Schneider. “As more and more HDTV viewers try it out, a growing number of them are finding it to be the ideal solution for getting great HD picture quality without the bulky presence of a traditional antenna.”

According to Schneider, the Lacrosse is the first HDTV antenna to combine aesthetics and function in the same product. While other antennas have featured streamlined designs in the past, the Lacrosse is the first to look good and perform at the top of its class.

The review by the HT Guys is the latest in a growing list of praise and acclaim that the Lacrosse has received since being released. The antenna earned a Top Choice Award in November 2005 from HDTV Etc. Magazine, and was featured in an article about portable HDTV in the magazine’s June/July ’06 Issue. The Lacrosse was also a featured product at TechLiving.com in May of this year.

The HT Guys are Ara Derderian and Braden Russell, engineers who formerly worked for the Advanced Digital Systems Group (ADSG) of Sony Pictures Entertainment. Each week they put together a podcast about High Definition TV and Home Theater to bring news from the A/V world, provide product reviews and demystify HDTV and home theater.
