Kim Welty Joins Niles as Directory of Marketing

MIAMI, FLORIDA — October 21, 2005 — Niles Audio Corporation today announced that it has selected Kim Welty to serve in the newly created position of director of marketing. Welty will oversee public relations, events, marketing communications, branding, advertising, promotional materials and websites for Niles and its brands. This appointment is consistent with the company’s ongoing mission to deliver world-class marketing that enhances brand awareness and benefits the Niles’ dealer base. The addition will benefit dealers in the availability, quality and effectiveness of marketing materials they use to promote their custom installation businesses.

Welty joins Niles from San Francisco-based Monster Cable where she held the position of director of marketing. Prior to working for Monster, Welty was marketing operations manager for Panamax. Her extensive experience and passion for the custom installation business will ensure that Niles remains The First Name in Custom Installation.
