Key Digital Added to Savants Excellence in A/V Cooperative Program

Savant Systems LLC, having led the convergence of an open architecture platform to integrate automation and control, A/V switching, and general purpose computers, has announced the addition of Key Digital to their EXCELLENCE IN A/V cooperative program. The EXCELLENCE IN A/V initiative has been targeted to achieve global compatibility between Savant’s ROSIE control systems and a diverse group of best-in-class manufacturers from the audio, video, lighting control, HVAC, and security industries, as well as devices and subsystems from many related markets. “Our network of authorized installers has reported encountering the Key Digital products in the field, and it is our objective to ensure that the technologies from both brands interact seamlessly together,” stated Savant Director of Marketing Craig Spinner.

“Key Digital is respected for offering solutions that interface with so many video formats and standards, such as digital HDMI, HDTV, SDTV, and analog video–we are quite pleased to be a part of Savant’s Excellence in A/V program,” said Michael Lakhter, VP of Sales at Key Digital. “Participating in the Excellence in A/V program will make it easier for integrators to create a complete working system using components from both Key Digital and Savant’s Rosie control system.”

Participation in Savant’s EXCELLENCE IN A/V cooperative program will facilitate the seamless integration of Key Digital’s device protocol within the Savant system environment.

The core of Savant’s technology is an open programmable platform supporting UDP/IP, TCP/IP, RS-232/422/485 and IR serial communication, and Low Voltage Trigger Outputs.

Savant’s EXCELLENCE IN A/V program will open new doors for participating manufacturers seeking to expand their business in a rapidly growing industry.
