High Quality Sound and Design Highlight New Entry-Level Subwoofer

KEF announces the release of its new KUBE-1 subwoofer. The KUBE-1 is KEF’s new ‘entry-level’ powered subwoofer and is a direct replacement for the discontinued PSW1000.2.

“The KUBE-1 sub combined with the 1005 Series continue the KHT Home Theatre tradition of offering innovative, sophisticated and decor-friendly design,” said Alec Chanin, president of KEF America. “One look and you will easily fall in love with its simplicity. KEF has created something very special in this tremendously exciting new KUBE-1 sub.”

The beauty of KEF’s new KUBE-1 subwoofer resides not only in its aesthetic appeal but also in its unique cubed construction. Allowing installers to discretely tuck the KUBE-1 into corners, its perfect shape maximizes internal volume while minimizing external size. Standing at 11.5″ wide x 11.5″ high x 11.5″ deep, the KUBE-1 delivers amazing 3D sound and stunning bass realism, a unique trademark which KEF has aggressively developed on throughout the years.

Deep, accurate bass and full-bodied sound are produced thanks to the 150W class D amplifier and 8″ driver. Combined with an Auxiliary Bass Radiator (ABR) of the same size, the sub produces tunefully, defined bass with a tight response. Sporting a sealed modernized black cabinet, topped with a high-gloss surface designed for the acoustical ABS driver, the KUBE-1 delivers high-quality sound without sacrificing space.

With its sleek, compact design and uncompromised high-powered performance, the KUBE-1 is the ideal small subwoofer for any home entertainment system. Pairing an appealing exterior with superior sound, the KUBE-1 provides a stunning bass sound with eye-catching appeal.

The KUBE-1 is developed as the perfect compliment to the KHT1005 5.1 home cinema speaker system, but can also provide stunning sound as a stand-alone.
