Complemented by the KUBE-1, KEF’s newest, diminutive high performance subwoofer, the KHT1005.2 Series is a 5.1 home theater speaker system featuring KEF’s iconic ‘egg-shaped’ surround speakers. Both are part of the second-generation installment to KEF’s Home Theater 1000 Series speaker system.

Based on the highly successful Home Theater 1000 Series speaker system, the KHT1005.2 Series improves upon the already stellar audio performance of its predecessor. With four satellites and one center channel speaker, the KHT1005.2 features the latest generation of Uni-Q drivers with advanced aerospace material. At 75mm (3″), they are the smallest Uni-Q drivers used in KEF speakers, resulting in exceptional clarity within a diminutive enclosure.
KEF’s patented Uni-Q driver achieves what audio engineers have sought for decades: to project an exceptionally broad frequency range from just a single point. Uni-Q technology disperses sound over a wide area without losing quality, which the consumer can enjoy from any location within a room. KEF places its tweeter in the acoustic and mechanical center of the midrange cone, resulting in a near-perfect, single-point-source driver. This configuration ensures both drivers’ frequency ranges are delivered in precise focus, providing the widest achievable dispersion.
