Jenne Distributors Joins ADTRAN Value-Added Distribution Program
Program Enables Specialty Distributors to Bring Added Advantages to Reseller Base
HUNTSVILLE, Ala.–(December 19, 2008)–ADTRAN, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADTN), a leading supplier of next-generation network solutions, today announced that Jenne Distributors is the latest addition to its Value-Added Distribution program (VAD). Announced earlier this month, the program is designed to expand ADTRAN’s reach to resellers targeting Small and Medium Businesses (SMB). Through the program, specialty distributors, such as Jenne, will be aligned with resellers to deliver fully supported solutions to their end-user customers. This provides end-users with the ability to purchase ADTRAN products from a wide range of dealers, while ensuring that end-users receive critical, first-line support. This is especially beneficial to smaller resellers who have a demand for ADTRAN NetVanta products due to their ease of use and attractive price point, but do not have a support organization in place or the specialization required to purchase select platforms.
