JBL Cinema 500 Home Theater Speaker System

Harman announced the JBL Cinema 500, a 5.1 home theater speaker system with a dual-midrange center, four satellite speakers and a down-firing, 150-watt 8-inch (200mm) powered subwoofer.

The four identical satellites are voice-matched to the center for consistent sound from speaker to speaker, creating a more realistic 360-degree surround-sound field throughout the room. The Cinema 500 employ two PolyPlas cones in the center channel with a lower crossover point in the surrounding satellite speakers that have dual 3-inch (75mm) PolyPlas.
