Solegy Launches Managed PBX Solution

Service Providers Can Now Offer Business Customers
a Single Source Solution for Voice

New York, NY & San Jose, Calif. — March 20, 2007 — Solegy, a provider of a managed Service Delivery Platform (SDP) for VoIP, IMS and other next generation services, announced today the launch of a managed PBX solution that will enable service providers to offer business customers a single-sourced solution for all of their voice needs. Announced today at Spring VON (Booth #236), the service is available through Solegy’s ServicePDQ software platform that provides a single point for clients to develop, deploy, manage and charge for services across multiple networks.

Solegy’s Managed PBX delivers all the features and functionality of traditional PBX and key systems, while adding a wealth of new IP-based services, enhanced flexibility and expanded user control. The platform delivers redundancy and scalability that is difficult to achieve with traditional premise based PBX systems. When combined with IP phones and PSTN connectivity, service providers using Solegy’s solution may replace both traditional phone systems and telephone company services with one unified solution.

“The Solegy team has been providing managed service delivery solutions to service providers for more than seven years,” said Stu Sleppin, Solegy president. “The new Managed PBX service will allow our service provider customers to approach yet another segment of the market with a flexible, resilient and timely product.”
The Managed PBX service can also be integrated with other Solegy bundled solutions including Calling Cards, Secure Instant Messaging and Callback. It can also be integrated with third-party applications such as contextual presence, allowing PBX end-users to control how inbound calls are routed based on his status and the individual characteristics of each caller.
As with all of Solegy’s ServicePDQ applications, the Managed PBX service is completely scalable so that service providers do not have to be concerned with capacity issues or costly hardware and software upgrades. Since the service is hosted and backed by Solegy’s fully-redundant datacenters, service providers may confidently offer a product without the expenditures needed to build a solid data and telephony infrastructure.
