FoneGEAR Expands Wireless Accessory Product Offering with new Hands Free Headsets and Holsters

foneGEAR hands free “Earclip” and “Earclip with flexible boom” ear buds and headsets and leather holsters have widespread appeal, will be on display at 2005 CTIA Show

March 7, 2005 — Troy, MI– foneGEAR LLC (Troy, MI) — a leader in mobile communications accessories – today announced the immediate availability of their innovative new hands free “Earclip” ear buds and “Earclip with Wire boom Microphone” headsets. foneGEAR has also launched a new line of attractive and secure leather holsters designed to be compatible with a wide range of current wireless phones.

The foneGEAR hands free Earclip ear bud, available for both Universal and Nokia phone-specific applications, features a high-definition, noise-canceling speaker, and a power switch with dual on/off and mute capability. It also features a noise-canceling microphone for outdoor calls or in areas with a high level of ambient noise. The Earclip ear bud, which includes a convenient collar clip for tangle-free conversations, is designed to comfortably grip the earlobe for security and may be used with either ear. The foneGEAR hands free Earclip headset has all of the features of the ear bud but adds a flexible boom for the microphone for users who prefer a more traditional headset appearance.

In addition to these well-received, which were introduced in the Consumer Electronics Association’s Accessories Division display at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show, foneGEAR has launched a new line of leather holsters that are secure and appropriate for a wide variety of wireless phones. Available in high-quality leather in small and large universal applications, these phone holsters feature an adjustable belt clip and come with a limited lifetime warranty. These holsters come with open packaging designed to allow customers to try their phone for fitment prior to purchase, increasing customer satisfaction and minimizing returns for foneGEAR retailers.

These products, along with the entire line of foneGEAR wireless accessories including cases, chargers, and headsets, will be on display March 14-16 at Booth 4631 at the 2005 CTIA Wireless Show in New Orleans, Louisiana. This booth is the exhibition area for Brightpoint, Inc., which foneGEAR has partnered with to sell and distribute aftermarket wireless accessories.

“Both the newly announced foneGEAR Earclip products and holsters and our partnership with Brightpoint have built a lot of momentum for foneGEAR heading into 2005,” said Fred Creamer, foneGEAR’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “This will be an exciting year for our company, and we are delighted that are products are becoming available to an even wider range of consumers.”
