Luxury audio specialist Devialet has collaborated with FENDI to deliver the FENDI x DEVIALET Mania portable speaker for Fendi’s Men’s Fall-Winter 2024-2025 collection, which was presented in Milan this past Saturday.
Crafted by Devialet’s team of world-class engineers and wrapped in a technical FF case in brown and tobacco with gold or gray and black with silver, the state-of-the-art 360° stereo wireless speaker was worn with looks 6, 20, 32, 34 and 43 during Fendi’s Men’s Fall-Winter 2024-2025 fashion show.
Marking both Devialet’s first foray into fashion and FENDI’s continued pursuit in the field of music and technology, the collaboration offers outstanding audio in a striking package.
The unique architecture and proprietary acoustic mapping technology in Devialet Mania adapts its stereo soundstage to its environment to deliver perfect treble and bass on the go.
The original Devialet Mania portable Bluetooth speaker launched in 2022 for $790 in light gray and black, along with an Opera de Paris version with gold trim for $990. Pink (Sunset Rose) and Beige (Sandstorm) versions followed priced at $899 which are described as “Seasonal Color” editions.
Internally all versions of Devialet Mania are the same regardless of color or branding, which means they should all sound and function the same.
What is Devialet Mania?
Devialet Mania is more powerful and featured packed than typical portable Bluetooth speakers. Although it does connect via Bluetooth, it also works with AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect. In addition, it includes a built-in microphone and works with Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant when connected over Wi-Fi.
Mania delivers 360° stereo sound and contains 4 aluminium full-range drivers and 2 woofers with 176-watts of total system power (2 x 38W class D for woofers, 4 x 25W class D for full-range speakers).
At about 7-inches around and weighing just over 5 lbs (2.3kg), Devialet Mania can be carried from its handle like a handbag. Finally, its 10 hours of battery life means you’ll be able to bring sound wherever you go through most of a day.
Price & Availability
The FENDI x Devialet Mania portable Bluetooth speaker is only available in FENDI retail stores for $3,100 USD as of fall 2024 in tobacco brown.
The other color options are available now and have incurred a $100 price increase since their original release. The updated prices are listed below:
