Energy Power Bar Elite Soundbar Speaker

Energy introduced the Power Bar and Power Bar Elite soundbars with wireless subwoofer developed to both significantly improve television and movie sound and give you the option of simulating a multi-speaker surround sound system.

The 40-inch long Energy Power Bar Elite system includes a 10-inch wireless, side-firing subwoofer that immediately connects with the soundbar once plugged into a power source — no other wires necessary. The 30-inch long Power Bar versions gets an 8-inch wireless subwoofer. Both are available in a matte black finish and can be easily setup to be controlled with many existing television remote controls. Also, both soundbars come with a 1.5m optical cable and wall-mounting template, while the Elite model adds credit card style remote.

Unlike most soundbars, the Energy Power Bar Elite utilizes a true, two-way speaker driver design similar to that used in a fine music speaker. Its .78-inch tweeter is matted to dual 3-inch mid-bass drivers for detailed, high-output sound for almost any size room. Unique to Energy speakers, the CSM technology places tweeters and mid-woofers in close proximity to act as a single source for coherent, seamless dispersion. With a built-in Dolby Digital Decoder, the soundbar reproduces detailed, high-quality sound no matter the format of sound that comes from a television. In addition, the Energy Power Bar Elite features 3D Surround Mode available with the touch of a button that adds spaciousness to the sound, simulating a true 5.1 home theater experience. Most important, the 3D Surround Mode requires no distinct speaker placement, special room requirements or specific program material to work properly.

“We developed the Energy Power Bar Elite to both significantly improve television and movie surround and give consumers the option of simulating a multi-speaker system,” said Tommy Jacobs, director of customer development for Energy. “Unfortunately, today's high-style televisions utilize thin cabinets that are incapable of clear, room-filling sound. With our latest soundbar, users experience an instant home theater upgrade as soon as they plug in — no additional equipment or wires needed.”
