A division of Jam Industries, Coast Music is Canada’s premier distributor of musical instruments and accessories. It is dispersing Elixir Strings products, including its Elixir™ Cables and its pioneering line of electric, acoustic, bass, mandolin and banjo strings, to more than 1,300 independent stores within Canada.

“As a Canadian distributor who is committed to selling top-of-the-line products coast to coast, we are very proud to sell and promote a leading brand such as Elixir Strings,” says Coast Music Vice President Manuel Senra. “We believe Elixir products not only have top quality strings, but also a superior cable line and we are looking to expand market share in Canada. It is our intention to create a stronger presence of Elixir Strings among retailers, which in turn will offer customers greater accessibility of its merchandise.”

“We’re excited to add Coast Music as a distributor of Elixir Strings and Elixir Cables,” says Brendan Bombard, Canadian sales representative. “It is a distribution company with great reach across Canada and a strong, professional sales force.”

Bombard adds, “Canada has a terrific music culture. In adding Coast Music as a new distributor, it’s our hope that we will increase our reach to new dealers and broaden our visibility within the country. This will allow Elixir Strings to tap into Canada’s great love of music by giving musicians’ greater access to our products.”

About Elixir Strings
Elixir Strings is the pioneer in coated string technology and is available in two string ‘flavors.’ Ultra-thin NANOWEB Coating provides the bright tone and punch of uncoated strings, yet keeps their lively tone three to five times longer than ordinary strings. The thin coating is nearly undetectable – providing the feel of traditional strings. Elixir Strings with original POLYWEB Coating also sound great three to five times longer than ordinary strings, have a balanced tone with smooth response, feel comfortably smooth, and reduce finger squeak. Elixir Strings are available in a full range of gauges for acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, banjo, and mandolin.

Today, Elixir Strings are installed as original equipment by a growing list of discriminating electric guitar and bass manufacturers including Ibanez, Tom Anderson Guitarworks, Brian Moore Guitars, Carvin, Melancon Guitars as well as premium acoustic guitar luthiers such as Taylor Guitars, Santa Cruz Guitar Company, Lakewood Guitars, RainSong Graphite Guitars, Carvin, and Goodall Guitars. Elixir Strings are endorsed by popular artists such as Melissa Etheridge, Train, Dave Mason, Michael W. Smith, Jim Messina, Christopher Cross, Bob Seger, and Drowning Pool.

Elixir Strings are manufactured by W.L. Gore & Associates, the company widely known for such innovations as GORE-TEX fabrics. For more information, please visit www.elixirstrings.com.
