The announcement was made today by Paul Starkey, ELAN’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Bucking the doom and gloom of the “slow market” and “suffering economy” reports, Tech Week 2008’s 300 seats were snatched up in record time by Technicians and Installers from across the globe, including 24 international registrations representing companies from 10 countries across four continents.
“It’s remarkable to see such industry enthusiasm for technical training with ELAN, HomeLogic and Sunfire and the chance to network with our prestigious group of Sponsors has resulted in an earlier-than-ever sell-out for Tech Week 2008,” stated Mr. Starkey. “The power of our three companies together has proven to be a tremendous draw. Although we officially had to shut down registration when we hit 300, we are, in fact, oversold. The phones continue to ring with many Dealers and Sales Managers calling for additional seats. In response, we have created a waiting list in the event that any more event space and rooms become available.”
