Crestron Hits Trifecta at Design & Engineering Awards

NEW YORK, NY — The Consumer Electronics Association announced the Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering Award winners at its CES New York Press Preview recently the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan. Crestron was distinguished as the industry’s leading manufacturer in the areas of Audio Components, Video Components and Home Theater Accessories. The Crestron iServer, the ADMS (Adagio Digital Media System) and the AMS-AIP (Adagio Media System with Advanced Image Processing) were honored by CEA this year. The Innovations Design and Engineering Awards program recognizes the most innovative electronic products in the industry’s hottest product categories. The CEA Innovations Awards have become a hallmark for the best designed products in home technology.

Nearly one thousand product submissions were evaluated by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade press. The Crestron iServer was honored in the Audio Components category; the ADMS was recognized in the Video Components category, and the ADMS was awarded in the Home Theater Accessories category. Products were judged on engineering qualities, aesthetic and design qualities, user value and unique features that benefit the consumer.
