Minneapolis, MN. (October 2006) — Chief partnered with CEDIA during this year’s EXPO, hosting a Flat Panel Mounting Competition on days two and three of the show. With a total of 8 participating teams, the winning team, Depew/Dennis from Chesapeake Smart Homes, installed a Chief PLPU Universal Pull-N-Tilt Wall Mount with a 61″ plasma in 1 minute and 23 seconds!
To achieve this record time, installers relied on features of the PLPU mount including an easy-grip handle for 3″ of cable access, self-leveling design and large wall plate opening.
Built to save installation time for 37″-65″ flat panels up to 200 lbs, the PLPU also offers fingertip tilt adjustments and an ultra low-profile design – only 2.5″ depth.
