Inside The HiFi Frame sits CANVAS’ own soundbar tech, and it’s not just a token add-on. Two 6.5-inch woofers backed by a pair of 5×8-inch passive radiators from SB Acoustics handle the low end with the kind of authority you’d expect from a proper sub, minus the extra box eating up floor space. The 24-liter cabinet gives the bass enough air to move, while dialogue stays locked in and easy to follow.
The structure itself is reinforced with CANVAS’ BridgeBrace, which keeps cabinet resonance in check — because nobody needs a TV frame humming along with the soundtrack. Power comes from four independent amplifiers, one for each driver, with a Burr-Brown DAC and DSP managing the signal. The result isn’t marketing fluff — it’s clean, controlled playback. Nearly eight years ago, I spent two days with Professor Choueiri at Princeton when the technology was still in its infancy, and even then I recognized it as one the most groundbreaking advancements in audio playback I’d heard in three decades. However, we’re told it will also work with other Samsung “Art” TVs such as Neo QLED 4K and 8K models, and should work with previous generation The Frame TVs.
Available in sizes from 55″ to 85″, each TV is integrated into The HiFi Frame so the outer frame houses both the Samsung display and the CANVAS soundbar. The result is a single, cohesive unit — straightforward to install, visually minimal, and designed to blend seamlessly into any living space.
Tip: Although The HiFi Frame is specifically designed to work with Samsung “Art” TVs, the regular Canvas HiFi (soundbar system) works with any brand’s TV sized from 55 to 85-inches.

What you see should support what you hear. The HiFi Frame is finished in Kvadrat textiles selected not only for aesthetics but for acoustic transparency. Each fabric has been tested to ensure sound passes through without distortion or coloration, preserving every detail of the performance.
For a different look, handcrafted wooden lamella fronts are available in light oak, walnut, or mahogany. All are FSC-certified, providing natural warmth and craftsmanship that integrates with the home while aging gracefully over time.
Wall-mounted or floor-standing, The HiFi Frame is designed to belong. A single, unified frame houses both the Samsung TV and the CANVAS soundbar, with concealed cabling and precise alignment across sizes 55″ to 85″. Connectivity That Keeps You in Control
The HiFi Frame keeps you connected no matter your source. Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Roon, and HDMI eARC make it easy to play music, film, or anything that moves you — from your TV, phone, or network. Vinyl lovers aren’t left out either: the analog input with a Burr-Brown DAC delivers full-fidelity sound for turntables with built-in phono stages.
Setup is straightforward. One tap on an iPhone or a guided process on Android gets everything running. Once connected, control is simple. HDMI eARC lets The HiFi Frame respond directly to your TV remote, maintaining perfect lip-sync and volume control as if it were part of the screen itself — seamless, accurate, and effortless.
In most traditional setups, you need to give your speakers some breathing room—typically 30–60 cm (1–2 feet) from the back wall—to get clean, balanced bass. But CANVAS flips the script. It’s designed to sit flush against the wall or even directly on the floor. While that placement boosts bass output, it can also make things sound bloated or boomy.
To fix that, CANVAS includes Room Correction via its iOS and Android apps. Using an iPhone’s built-in mic, the app measures your room’s acoustics and adjusts the frequency response to keep things tight and linear. Want even better accuracy? The optional Zen smart reference microphone works with both Android and iPhone and delivers pro-level measurements for even more precise correction.
