Crazy how expensive these universal IEMs have become. I don’t doubt the engineering or sound quality, but $2500 for wired earbuds feels a tad nutty.

Yes, these are rather expensive but they wouldn’t make them if their base didn’t ask for it. Universal IEMs over $2,000 have been around for at least 8 years so this isn’t the start of a new trend. Noble has been making some over $4000 for years. I use a pair of Campfire Audio IEMs that were $650 when I bought them 4 years ago and zero complaints.
The market in Asia for this type of high-end IEM is quite strong. There are plenty of models from a wide range of brands that never see the light of day here.
