Advanced Media Double-Layer/Inkjet White Printable Optical Discs Now Available at Micro Center Locations and Online

Company’s Popular RIDATA DVD+R DL Inkjet White and DVD-R DL Inkjet White 25 Packs Included in Computer Retailer’s Everyday Inventory

Diamond Bar, Calif.–March 6, 2006–Advanced Media, Inc., manufacturer and marketer of the popular RIDATA brand of recordable CD and DVD media, electronic storage products, and digital media accessories, announced two of its best selling optical discs are now available through Micro Center retail locations and its online store. The products are the RIDATA DVD+R DL Inkjet White and DVD-R DL Inkjet White in 25 packs. Micro Center also carries RIDATA lime green and light-orange color tops for spot-buy specials.

The two RIDATA white inkjet double-layer printable discs offer an ideal surface to print crisp, colorful graphics or clear, easily readable text. Tests have proven the printing consistency of the RIDATA white inkjet printable surface and its resistance to fading from light exposure or water damage.

The single-sided, double-layer RIDATA DVD+R DL and DVD-R DL media have an amazing 8.5GB of storage capacity, enough for up to four hours of DVD-quality video, 16 hours of VHS-quality video, or over 120 hours of MP3 audio. Each is compatible with all current DVD video players, game consoles, and DVD-ROM drives as well as new DVD+R DL and DVD-R DL drives respectively. They are ideal for virtually any business or household application.

A key advantage of the dual layer discs’ configuration is convenience. It allows users to read, write, or view nearly twice the amount of data than do single-layer, 4.7GB DVD discs without having to flip sides or change discs. It offers the largest compatible DVD backup and data archiving format for computer drives.
