Acer America Corporation, one of the leading worldwide suppliers of IT solutions and the fastest growing PC vendor in the United States, today announced the TravelMate 4720 has tied for first place in the coveted CMP Channel Test Center Tough Notebook Challenge. In each test, the TravelMate 4720 survived and booted as if the notebook had never been disturbed.

Encased in Acer’s new thin and light ProFile chassis with a magnesium alloy cover, the TravelMate 4720’s security features include Acer Bio-Protection fingerprint solution and enhanced Acer DASP (Disc Anti-Shock Protection) hard drive protection, making the TravelMate 4720 a truly reliable notebook.
