Accenture Executive to deliver Opening Keynote at CONNECTIONS: The Digital Home Conference & Showcase

Dallas, TX, March 14, 2006 — CONNECTIONS announced today that Allen Delattre, Global Managing Director of Accenture’s Electronics & High Tech industry practice, will deliver the conference’s morning keynote, ‘Digital Home Services: Framing the New Opportunities’, on Wednesday, May 3.

In his keynote speech, Mr. Delattre will discuss today’s digital home and the vast possibilities for new consumer solutions. CONNECTIONS, hosted by Parks Associates in partnership with CEA, will take place May 2-4, 2006, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif. Accenture is a Diamond Sponsor for CONNECTIONS: The Digital Home Conference and Showcase.

“Achieving success in the digital home space requires creativity, market knowledge, business acumen, and a commitment to innovate,” said Tricia Parks, CEO of Parks Associates. “Accenture brings all these elements to CONNECTIONS, and our attendees will benefit greatly from Mr. Delattre’s keynote as well as Accenture’s presence at the CONNECTIONS Showcase.”

According to Parks Associates, the number of broadband households with a residential gateway will reach 47 million by 2010. Service providers will play a big role in deploying these devices, leveraging the new RG-enabled services to acquire and retain customers and generate more revenue. Also in 2010, the number of U.S. households with a networked storage device will grow to nearly 10 million. These and other advanced devices will serve as the foundation for the digital home.

Allen (Al) Delattre is a nine-year veteran of Accenture and has more than 20 years of experience in creating and implementing new business models and strategies. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale strategic initiatives for clients in all segments of the high-tech industry, including semiconductor, consumer electronics, and telecommunications.
