Accell Connects European Audio/Video Market with New Retail Sales Channel Partner

Accell aligns with Partners in Europe to develop sales channel for enhanced A/V interconnect solutions

FREMONT, CALIF, March 30, 2006 — Accell Corporation, a provider of premium audio/video interconnects and computer cables, today announced it has signed with Partners in Europe (PIE) to expand its line of high performance, premium A/V interconnects into the European retail market.

The audio/video market is rapidly growing with consumers actively investing in digital receivers and HD displays. The demand for quality audio and video cables is paralleling this growth. Savvy consumers are aware that generic cables provide minimal performance and want enhanced connectivity to ensure optimum video and audio quality.

PIE is one of the most developed, comprehensive and sophisticated outsourced sales and support organizations in Europe. The company will extend Accell’s reach beyond the U.S. to cultivate the European channel and also manage in-country sales, fulfillment, and customer support.

“By aligning with such a highly effective and well connected sales organization, Accell will have the ability to reach European consumers searching for high quality, affordable, interconnect products,” noted Michael Weizer, director of marketing for Accell. “Accell continues to grow in the U.S. and now with European expansion, we are looking forward to worldwide validation and adoption of our A/V solutions.”

“We are very impressed with Accell’s portfolio of premium interconnect products for the A/V market,” said Kieran Sheahan, CEO at Partners In Europe. “We believe that their focus on performance, quality and value will carry them a long way with discerning European customers. And, by partnering with PIE, Accell will also enjoy a significant increase in business while cultivating a new market for enthusiastic and loyal users.”

Accell will deliver performance enhanced, premium interconnect products that provide PIE’s customers with a cost and price-point advantage. All products are available in various lengths and ideal for all HD video and high-end audio applications:

UltraVideo Component cable
UltraVideo S-Video cable
