| If a DVD player list CD-R and CD-RW as supported formats, does this mean that I can create a CD on my PC with a bunch a JPG files on it and play it throught the DVD player on my TV? Thanks, Rod |
eCoustics | It sounds like you want to make a slideshow of image files for playback on your TV? If so, you will need to make sure your DVD Player is VCD (Video-CD) compatible. Go to VCDHelp.com for more information. |

| Hi Everyone, Recently I recorded a CDR with VOB files (DD and DTS trailers) on the computer, in the expectation that the DVD players would read it. In fact, I tried with a Taiwan model, compatible with CDR & CDRW and it displays image but the motion is compassed, floffy and the audio is all but correct. On the contrary the AVIA VOB file to test the home cinema surround looks and plays OK. Is the different amount of data a critical factor to justify this ? Any one have a tecnical explanation for this ! What specification should I check to ensure this is well done ? |
