I have a Panasonic DMR-E50 connected to a Pace DC550P HiDef cable box supplied by Time Warner Cable. The 2 are connected by S-video because the cable box does not have a coax output and the DVD recorder does not have component input. When I try to record anything on the recorder it tells me "copy of this material is not allowed". Is there anything I can do about this? Is this a cable problem or does it happen on DSS as well. By the way this happens on about every channel I have tried. Thanks for your help.
