I just bought this dvd player today and I hooked it up to my tv - the red, yellow, and white cables - my tv has two sets of these jacks, one in front and one in back. After hooking the player up, I don't get a picture or sound. It looks as though the player is playing, but it has no effect on my tv. I have the tv on Ch. 4, the channel I use for my vcr and satellite dish. Does anyone know why I'm not getting a picture or sound? I have a dvd player hooked up to the other tv in the house - I have the same setup on that one with a dish receiver and vcr and that dvd player works fine. I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!

You will not get a picture on channel 4 you need to select the input you hooked the DVD up to. If you are connected to the rear it is probably video 1. Look for a video button on the remote or tv. You are hooked up to a video input not an ant. input. It could also be called "input" on the remote.
