I have had this unit for a while and have never had an issue. I have transferred home movies from VHS to DVD, record from TV, and dub from my DVR to DVD. Now all of the sudden, it makes no difference how I try to record I get the "Content is Copy protected and recording will be paused message". It even happens when trying to dub from my video camera which is not copy protected. It has not been moved or cables switched. anyone have any ideas what might be causing this issue? I am using Phillips blank DVD-R, which is what I have always used. Any help appreciated.
