Ex-Satellite Pirate Creates New Hyper-Local Media Service

Local Town Websites is a network of web domains and pages that use a singular core platform to provide local news, weather, community event calendars, classifieds, job listings and more, each moderated by "online mayors" who have been verified as living within the towns they support. Complete with both local resident and business member profiles, you connect to this network using your existing Facebook, Google or Twitter account which allows the system to combine and sort your social network contacts by location, allowing you to interact with your real world neighbors in a local online environment. |
