i was a FTA user and have a dish already pointing to Dish Networks Satellites. I am about to get Direct TV basic and an international subscription. Can i keep my existing Dish and LNBs?

waiting for Nagra3 is too much to bear!

Your Dish network Dish is probably OK,
Dish LNBs may work partially, but for best results get Direct TV LNBs.
Sadoun.com is good source and resource.

Hippos are you installing it yourself? You already have a sub account with Direct? Reason I am asking is if you are a new sub why don't you let Direct install it for you for free?

I winter does not deter you climbing to install and reinstal, start with your current Dish Network LNB ans see if it satisfies you.

Or you can buy a Sadoun DSL2 - Dual DIGITAL DSS Circular KU 0.4 dB LNBF
It might be the only one you need for $25

A lot of people have used Invacom QPH-031: A high performance LNBF with 4 outputs. Excellent choice to use with your motorized dishes, or where the signal strength is poor." It kicks in at $70.

T:here are more exotic and pricey ones available at Sadoun. Look at the features of those and see if you want the extras that they give - such as more sats to scan.
