I'm very new at this so please bear with me.

I'm purchasing satellite components to install on my RV,
I have a DishPro receiver Model VIP211k and a matched dish,
Pro HD dish (3LBN). Here are my questions.

1) Which switch should I purchase DP33 or DP44?
2) The system is tripod mounted, howor where do I ground the
switch?
3) Can I use the existing cable tv connection or should I install a
dedicated connector for the dish?
Thank You

Wherever you can use DP33, you can use DP44.
DP4 is always preferable to DP33.
Always use the power inserter.
You only need a switch, if you have more than one sat being scanned. You have not provided info on what sats you are scanning.
In the switch usage published at Sadoun, I did not see any grounding instructions. If the switch is close to the antenna, the grounding of antenna is sufficient protection from lightening. A logical statement, (without anything to back it up) is that you can always wrap a bare copper wire on the metal of the switch, and take the other end into the ground around. Somebody like Plymouth or King could give you better guidance on this.

Good answer from Nydas!

If the existing cable is an RG-6 you can use this one but usually regarding the age of the RV, the more recent use this cable but old one use old F-59 which is better for RF transmission between Cable box and old TV set.
