I just bought a Toshiba 32" TV and Toshiba DVD player. They both have Component Video outlets. The TV's manual says to switch the DVD player's output to 480i from 480p. Yet the DVD manual does not address this issue.
How do I make the Progressive Scan work?
I'm so annoyed.

I looked up your model of TV and I don't think it accepts 480p progessive scan. To use progressive scan you have to have a Digital TV (EDTV/HDTV). Traditional analog TV's like the 32AF43 can't display progressive signals. Sorry it looks like your SOL.
