In a candid interview with The Business Journal, Clayton, who previously combined his duties as head of Sirius Satellite Radio and EchoStar Corp. CEO in charge of anti-piracy strategy declared the following: " The anti-piracy war was won on three fronts. First was the technological front. Our encryption security measures have proven effective and flawless." "Second was the legal front. We've been searching and destroying all illegal equipment dealerships and plan on going after pirated signal distributors and end users." "Third is the PR (public relations) front. We've been improving our image as a more understanding and friendlier one. Now our subscribers will be allowed to have an unlimited number of receivers for their private use. This way, any piracy left, will be discouraged while we can keep an eye on these satisfied customers. " Additionally, Clayton mentioned Dish Network recently acquired Blockbuster Inc. (to compete with Netflix,Inc.) , DBSD North America Inc. and Liberty Bell Telecom. All those deals closed this year. "Now we have the edge", he said.  |

Back in the days of hacking Direct tv... i doubt it very much that you or Nalin could have fingured it out. FTA for N1 and N2 were easy in comparison. Have you ever done work on a DTV HU smart card or any dss programming .? Ever use a hu loader, or a looper? There were many different things to do to a card to get DTV many steps . See for some of us that have been around "hacking" TV CHANNELS for well over 15 years we have learnt a thing or too. FTA b4 N3 was way faster and less complicated. even a fool could do it. Now a days with iks severs it;s even more user friendly. ITS LIKE PLUG AND PLAY.. WAS N'T LIKE THAT YEARS AGO. YOU NEED BRIANS TO FIHURE OUT ALL THE THINGS AND HAVE THE RIGHT HARDWARE.ETC... Nagrastar's anti-piracy CEO and spokesman Pascal Lenoir mentioned gaining control of a database of at least 8,435 log-in IP's of customers units plus additional incriminating operational and logistical information. He declared : " In the coming weeks Nagrastar's legal department will announce how we will be proceeding with the information gathered in this successfully operation. ...and rest assured others will follow." |
