About a year or two ago IKS sprung up in answer to Nagra3. That was just the start.
Now the same Open Source that has had Microsoft hopping has come with vengeance to the Satellite world.
The NewCAMD server is available for use in a small area distribution - about 10-60 receivers from your desktop PC loaded with software. The inital developments were on Linux but now it is available as iNewCAMD switcher.
I am not much into networking at the deep levels, but reading about it makes me wonder how long before $10 per year IKS services spring up all over
You need .Net framework, and Microsoft SQL server compact and this software.

Garcia:
When you get cast out from here, would you be considered a social outcast or just a cast-out?
