Does anyone know how to order PPV with this particular receiver? When I order a PPV movie it tells me that I need to have the receiver hooked up to the phone line. Is there anyway to get by this screen?
Whatever you do don't hook it up to the phone line. Personaly I don't think your program is to good because you shouldn't have to order movies if you have dish. I have dish and I don't have too. So for advisement get a new program and you will be happy.
Walter it sounds like stu is on a Sub and you get free PPV untill you fill all the slots, then you need a phone line hooked up and it will dump and you will be billed for everything. then the slots are emptied and you can do it again.

no I'm not on a subscription. What do you mean by program? I have a rom2 card i was told, and a dish 4000 receiver upgraded to a 3000 apparently. Does that mean anything?
